Live proceedings
Watching, browsing, and queuing parliamentary sessions: ongoing broadcasts, the archive of recorded sittings, and the schedule of upcoming meetings.
Live proceedings is the entry point for parliamentary broadcasts — Sejm sessions, committee meetings, subcommittee meetings, conferences, and other gatherings carried on the official Sejm video channel. The same screen serves three purposes: tuning into a session that is currently in progress, reviewing the recording of a past session, and inspecting the schedule of sessions yet to take place.
It is accessed via the sidebar entry CORE → Live Proceedings.
The three sub-views
A view selector at the top of the screen switches between three lists. The default is Previous.
- Ongoing — sessions broadcast live at the present moment. The list is empty outside session hours.
- Previous — sessions that have already ended. Recordings are retained indefinitely and remain available for analysis.
- Scheduled — sessions announced in the parliamentary calendar but not yet started. Sorted in ascending date order, oldest first.
Selecting a session card opens its Detail view, described in Opening a proceeding.
The proceedings list
Sessions are grouped by month. Within each month, items are ordered by start time — most recent first for Previous and Ongoing, earliest first for Scheduled.
Each card displays:
- The Sejm RP emblem.
- The session title, as published by the Chancellery of the Sejm.
- The start time, in the user's local timezone, prefixed with a clock icon.
- A type badge indicating whether the gathering is a Session, Commission, Subcommittee, Conference, or Other.
- One or more status icons indicating the state of automatic analysis (described below).
Selecting a card navigates to the proceeding's detail view.
Sidebar filters
The right sidebar provides three controls. Filters apply within the currently selected sub-view; switching sub-views preserves their state.
Search
Free-text search across session titles. Results update as the query is typed. Matching is case-insensitive.
Date range
A pair of date pickers restricting the visible sessions to a chosen interval. Leaving either field blank treats that endpoint as unbounded.
Proceeding type
A multi-select field with the five gathering types listed above. Sessions whose type is not selected are hidden. Selecting no types is equivalent to selecting all types.
Status icons on the card
The icons in the upper-right of each card communicate the state of the two analysis pipelines without requiring the card to be opened.
| Icon | Pipeline | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Pulsing Live indicator (primary) | Record Analysis | A real-time transcription session is currently running for this proceeding. |
| Live indicator (primary, static) | Record Analysis | A real-time analysis has been recorded and is available for review. |
| Lightning indicator (secondary) | Record Analysis | A fast retroactive analysis (Priority Review) of an archived recording has been produced. |
| Lightning indicator (amber) | Record Analysis | A Priority Review request has been queued and will start when capacity is available. |
| Lightning indicator (red) | Record Analysis | A Priority Review attempt failed. |
| Processed indicator (primary) | Enhanced Record | The full comprehensive analysis is complete. |
| Processed indicator (amber, with percentage) | Enhanced Record | The comprehensive analysis is in progress. |
| Processed indicator (red) | Enhanced Record | The comprehensive analysis failed. |
A card with no status icons indicates that no analysis has yet been requested for the proceeding. Both pipelines may be initiated from the detail view.
Empty states
- No proceedings found — the active filters return no matches. Adjusting the search query, date range, or proceeding-type selection typically resolves the issue.
- Failed to load proceedings — communication with the backend was unsuccessful. The page may be reloaded; if the condition persists, the operations team is notified automatically.
Pages in this section
- Opening a proceeding — the detail view, the video player, and the two analysis tabs (Record Analysis and Enhanced Record).
