Cockpit

The default landing screen. A consolidated view of current activity and recent changes.

The Cockpit is the default landing screen following authentication. It aggregates the most relevant signals — current parliamentary activity, recent alert events, stakeholder updates, and repository statistics — onto a single page for at-a-glance review.

It may be reopened at any time via the Cockpit entry in the sidebar.

Cockpit components

The composition of the screen reflects the account's configuration; the full set of available components is described below.

News ticker

A scrolling band positioned at the top of the screen. It cycles through application announcements and operational notices automatically. Routine attention is not required.

Live proceedings tile

Indicates the current state of Sejm sessions. When a session is in progress, a pulsing red indicator and the session title are displayed. When no session is in progress, the next scheduled session is shown instead. Selecting the tile opens Live proceedings for direct viewing.

Alerts and risks cards

A grid of recent alert events corresponding to the user's configured rules. Each card represents a single event; selecting it opens the event detail.

When no alert rules have been configured, the panel displays "No alerts triggered yet". Configuration of alert rules is covered in the Alerts and risks section (forthcoming).

Up to five entries from the user's stakeholder list, ranked by recent activity. The default time window is the last twenty-four hours; if no activity is recorded in that window, the panel automatically falls back to the last seven days and labels the change accordingly.

Activity comprises social-media posts and alert hits. Selecting an avatar opens the corresponding profile.

Repository tile

Displays the total number of documents associated with the account, with a link to the Repository for full browsing.

Ledger tile

Displays the most recent parliamentary vote, including its title, time of occurrence, and a link to the Ledger for the full record.

Daily report (forthcoming)

Annotated SOON. The component will, on release, provide a one-page summary of votes, alerts, and stakeholder activity since the previous day.

Smart search (forthcoming)

Annotated Disabled. The component will, on release, support natural-language queries that draw on both the user's repository and live data feeds.

Synchronisation indicator

The top corner of the screen displays the timestamp of the most recent data refresh, in the form Updated: [time].

  • A blue indicator signifies that the displayed data is current.
  • An amber indicator signifies that newer data is available; reloading the page refreshes the view.

The Cockpit is designed for sequential top-to-bottom review. After approximately a week of regular consultation, individual users typically identify which tiles are most relevant to their work. From the Cockpit, the most frequent navigation paths lead to Live proceedings, Alerts, and the Repository.
