Using Persate
Navigation, tenant-specific access, mobile controls, and platform-wide actions.
Persate organizes work into a persistent navigation shell. The entries shown to a user depend on the features enabled for the organization, the user's role, and group assignments.
Navigation areas
The desktop sidebar uses these sections:
- Cockpit — the starting dashboard.
- CORE — Advisor and Tracker.
- WORKSPACE — Repository, Smart Folders, Reports, and the beta Editor.
- LABS — tools assigned to the user's groups. The section is absent when no compatible lab is assigned.
- PUBLIC — Legislation, Recordings, Votes, Stakeholders, Media, and Sources.
- OPERATIONS — administrator pages. This section is visible only to workspace administrators when the operations panel is enabled.
An entry may be absent or may show a feature-locked screen when the organization does not have access. A visible entry is not a substitute for the server-side permission check performed when the page loads.
Desktop header
The desktop header provides:
- the light/dark theme switch;
- Feedback;
- a link to this documentation;
- separate Announcements and Messages feeds;
- the profile menu, with Profile, Preferences, Settings, and Log out.
Mobile navigation
On narrow screens, the bottom dock provides the primary navigation plus Search, Upload, and Profile. Filters that normally occupy a page sidebar open as an overlay or sheet. Detail pages may move their metadata rail into a drawer.
Feature and access messages
- Feature locked — the feature is not enabled for the current organization or account. Contact a workspace administrator.
- Access denied — the signed-in account does not belong to an organization that can open the platform, or the current role cannot perform the action.
- Sign-in check unavailable — Persate could not verify the current organization access. Select Retry before starting a state-changing operation.
Pages in this section
- Search and notifications — global search, announcements, messages, and notification preferences.
