Account creation

Registration can be started on the persate.com homepage by selecting Sign up. Two registration paths are available.

Email and password form

Traditional registration requires completing the following fields:

• Email address — the account address.
• Password — a minimum of eight characters, including at least one digit and at least one special character. While the password is being entered, a list of requirements appears below the field, and the criteria that have been met are marked in real time.
• Password confirmation — to ensure it is entered without typos.
• Acknowledgements — two separate checkboxes: acceptance of the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service. The registration button remains inactive until both boxes are selected.

After the form is submitted, the interface displays a general message confirming that the request has been received — "Request received" — along with the information that if the address requires verification, a link will arrive shortly, and that if the account already exists, the user should sign in or reset the password. The message is intentionally neutral and does not reveal whether a given address is already registered.

Note: If the address requires verification, the message containing the link may be delivered to the spam folder. If the link does not arrive within a few minutes, verifying the correctness of the entered address is recommended.

Single sign-on (SSO)

An account can also be created by selecting Continue using Google Account or Continue using Microsoft Account. After signing in, the account is created automatically. This method bypasses the email address verification step.

Error states

• "Passwords do not match" — the values in the password and confirmation fields differ.
• "Sign-up Failed" with the description "Password must be at least 8 characters long" — the password is too short.
• "Sign-up Failed" with the description "Password must include at least 1 number" — the password does not contain a digit.
• "Sign-up Failed" with the description "Password must include at least 1 special character" — the password does not contain a special character.
• "Sign-up Failed" with a description of an unexpected error — the request could not be processed; try again.
