Account

Manage the profile details shown across Persate and inspect your workspace access.

Open Settings → Account.

Profile photo

Select the avatar or Upload photo. Persate accepts JPG, PNG, and WebP images up to 2 MB. Remove custom photo restores the generated avatar or the image supplied by the identity provider.

Use only an approved professional image. The photo can appear in shared briefings, comments, and collaborator lists.

Display name

Enter the name that Persate should show to collaborators, then select Save. If the field is blank, Persate falls back to the identity-provider name or email address.

Email

Select Change email, enter the requested credentials and new address, then follow the confirmation links sent to both the old and new addresses. The address does not change until the confirmation flow completes.

For provider-managed sign-in, account credentials may have to be changed with the provider.

Role and groups

Role is read-only and shows the workspace-level permission assigned to the account. Groups lists the user's current memberships and group role. Groups control access to shared documents, analyses, channels, and assigned Labs.

Only a workspace administrator can change roles or memberships. An empty group list is valid, but group-scoped content will not be available.

Troubleshooting

  • Photo upload rejected — confirm the format and 2 MB limit.
  • Save disabled — the display name has not changed.
  • Confirmation email missing — check both old and new inboxes and the spam folders.
  • Incorrect role or group — contact a workspace administrator; the Account page cannot change it.
