Cloud integrations

Persate can connect to a Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive account, list its folders and files, and import selected files. Imported files go through the same analysis as uploaded files and then appear in Repository.

Open the provider page

The provider pages have no entry in the sidebar. While signed in, open them by address:

• Google Drive — persate.com/integration/google-drive
• Microsoft OneDrive — persate.com/integration/microsoft-onedrive

If no account is connected yet, the page shows Connect to Google Drive or Connect to OneDrive with the Connect Now button.

Connect an account

1. Select Connect Now. The button changes to Redirecting... and the provider's sign-in and consent screen opens.
2. Sign in to the provider account whose files should be available, review the requested access and approve it.
3. The provider sends the browser back to Persate, which shows Finalizing Connection. When the connection succeeds, a notification confirms it (Google Drive connected. or OneDrive connected.) and the provider page lists the account's files.

Persate checks that the provider's response matches the connection request started from Persate. If the check fails, Connection failed states that the callback could not be verified, and the connection is not completed. Do not reuse or share the address the provider returned to; start again with Connect Now instead.

Browse files

The page header shows the current path, starting with Google Drive or Microsoft Onedrive; selecting an earlier part of the path returns to that folder. The list shows Name, Date modified and File size, and selecting a folder opens it. List view and Tile view switch above the list, as in Repository.

The list contains what the connected provider account can access. A file that is not available to that account cannot be imported.

Import a file for analysis

In list view, each file row ends with a button showing the Persate logo; screen readers announce it as Analyze followed by the file name. Selecting it imports the file into Persate and starts analysis, and the list refreshes. The button is dimmed and unavailable for folders, for files that have already been imported, and while that file's import is in progress. In tile view, the same logo appears as a badge on each tile and turns gray once the file has been analyzed.

Importing copies the file into Persate; the original stays unchanged in Google Drive or OneDrive. Content search, summaries and Advisor answers based on the file become available once analysis has finished.

Current limitations

• Files are imported one at a time; a folder cannot be imported as a whole.
• The provider pages have no disconnect control. To withdraw Persate's access, remove it in the security settings of the Google or Microsoft account.

Troubleshooting

• Connection failed with a message that the callback could not be verified — open the provider page again and select Connect Now.
• Connection failed with Access was denied. — the consent screen was declined; open the provider page again, select Connect Now and approve the requested access.
• The page stays on Connection failed — open the provider page by address again; it does not return there on its own.
• Couldn't load Google Drive or Couldn't load OneDrive — the text below the heading gives the reason; refresh the page and try again.
• A file is not listed — check that the connected account can open it and that the right folder is open.
• The import button is dimmed — the item is a folder, the file has already been imported, or its import is in progress.
