Using a lab workbench

The exact labels and data model depend on the assigned lab. The common workbench provides the following views when the package supports them:

• Summary — release context and high-level counts;
• People — searchable entities and their current review status;
• Graph — relationships between entities;
• Timeline — dated events and evidence.

Find and filter entities

Use search with at least two characters. Filter by group and by Verified, Probable, or Unresolved status. Selecting an entity focuses it in the active view and opens its dossier when available.

In the graph, select a node to focus it. Use the platform modifier shown by the interface to mark several nodes. The selected working set can be set aside and restored without changing the release.

Graph controls

The graph can release a focused layout, fragment a working set, or regroup the visible nodes. These controls affect only the current view. They do not add, remove, or rewrite reviewed relationships.

Dossiers and evidence

A person dossier groups reviewed relationships and their evidence. Open an evidence item to inspect its source and review state. Archived evidence is served as the exact stored file; a failed preview does not change the evidence record.

Treat every live web finding as unreviewed. Reviewers may:

• Promote the finding for inclusion in the next reviewed tranche;
• Reject it;
• undo the pending review decision.

Promotion does not modify the release currently open on screen.

Export

Use the export control to download a workbook for the current scope. Depending on the lab, the scope can be the whole release, a root group, or the selected nodes, with review statuses included. Export requires an active authorized session; a stale or shared download link is not a substitute for lab access.

Lab Advisor

Open Lab Advisor to ask about the current release. Starting a new conversation captures the current view context. Changing the view later does not retroactively rewrite earlier turns.

Use Stop to cancel a running turn. If the turn allowance is exhausted, the workbench remains available but the Advisor cannot start a new response until access is restored.

Empty and error states

• No search results — clear status/group filters or enter a broader query of at least two characters.
• Evidence unavailable — the source may be missing from the reviewed release; do not infer the relationship from the graph alone.
• Advisor unavailable — confirm both the lab assignment and Advisor entitlement.
• Export failed — keep the selected scope and retry after re-authenticating.
